I was disheartened by the real estate agents I encountered, who seemed more focused on their commissions rather than my needs as a client. When I finally listed my home with an agent, I shared my frustrations and my belief that prioritizing clients’ needs over the paycheck would lead to greater success.

He encouraged me to get my license and join his team. In just 18 months, I transformed from a novice to a top 5% agent in the county that nobody ever heard of. My name remained under the radar as all my sales were credited to my team leader. I achieved over 70 sales, proving my theory that honesty and client-first service are key to success.

As the brokerage I worked for “evolved”, I felt my values no longer aligned with them and it was time to move on. I prepared for and passed the Brokers exam, then opened my own brokerage. The plan is to continue to serve people in a completely honest, fair and transparent fashion.
